14-0421.14s Anodizing Without An Anodizer - VEC Short

Class Date::
Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 4:30pm - 5:30pm (CST)

Date: Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm (CST)

Class Description: Experience the magic of anodizing niobium. Watch Marti cut out a shape and brutally  hammer it. Then the hammered parts will magically become beautiful by adding  anodized color. The color is chosen by a combination of the voltage of the electric  current used and Marti's signature "painting with sanding pad" technique. No Anodizer? A low  tech, affordable method of anodizing with 9-volt batteries will be demonstrated. You can try it before you buy an anodizer.
