Date: Friday, April 16, 2021

Time: 1:30pm  - 4:30pm(CST)

Class Description: One of the best ways to master a tool is through repetition. In this class students will learn to fuse fine silver links and solder sterling silver links. The focus will be on the proper fusing/soldering of the links rather than creating a completed project, although the links can be used to create a loop in loop chain. With the repetition of fusing each link individually, students will become accustomed to controlling the heat on their piece, watching for the expected color changes in the metal and when to pull the flame from their piece. This course is aimed at increasing the student’s control and confidence with the torch. This is a great class for beaders and wire workers who want to jump into silversmithing.
