Date: Friday, April 16, 2021
Time: 9am - 4pm (CST) 1 hour break
Class Description: The beauty of wire is that you don’t need to have a lot of tools to make something amazing and intricate. In this class you will learn the modified soumak weave and how to use your hands and dowels to create swoops and swirls. While we will be using pliers the goal is to use them as little as possible. If you are completely new to wire weaving I suggest making these earrings into a pendant for the first time. If you are taking the class to learn how to better use your hand to create flowing motion but already know the weave I would suggest making earrings for the added challenge.
