Class Description: Tassels can be used to add elegant accents to jewelry designs. If you can sew on a button you can learn how to make awesome tassels. Students will learn to create beaded tassels using different sizes and shapes of beads to create a variety of tassel styles including ombre color blending. Adrienne will demonstrate how to attach a tassel using a simple beaded cover as well as a peyote cover for students with bead weaving experience. Note: Class does not include peyote or kumihimo instruction.

Required Tools and Materials: No kit offered for this project.
Beads: Lots of different sizes and shapes of beads will make beautiful tassels.
Seed beads; size 15, 11 & 8 round, Czech cut, or Toho demi round
Round beads 3 - 4mm such as druk, fire polish, gemstone, pearls, etc.,
Crystals 2 - 4mm; bicone, round or briolette
Ribbon - grosgrain ⅜ in. to ½ in., about 6 inches long
Beading needle #11 or #12
Beading thread; One-G, K.O., Nymo or similar (Fireline and WildFire are not recommended).
Magnifiers and task light are recommended
