Class Description: A rose by any other name is not this ring! You'll learn to form a beautiful, full-bloom rose to create this stunning high drama ring. Working with heavy gauge, textured ring shank wire, you will then create a lovely wide band ring to which your rose will be attached.

Instructor: Scott Mason and Phyllis Flora

Skill Level: Beginner

Materials Kit (included in price): Fine silver bezel wire, sterling silver pattern wire, sterling silver sheet, ring sizer, polishing pad. Domestic US shipping.**

Required Tools:  

  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers
  • Metal Shears
  • Rawhide or nylon mallet
  • Mitre Jig
  • Jeweler's saw and 3/o or 4/o saw blades
  • Cut Lube or beeswax
  • Sanding sticks
  • Steel ring mandrel
  • Half-round pliers (optional)
  • Solder Set-up,
    • medium and easy solder.
    • Torch
    • Fireproof surface 
    • Quench bowl
    • Pickle
    • Solder pick
    • Cross-lock tweezers (secure transfer of hot items from solder board to quench bowl)
    • Flux
