Date: Sunday, April 18, 2021
Time: 9am - 4pm (CST) 1 hour break
Class Description: In this class you will explore how to use fusing techniques to build a frame and create texture and layers, then compliment the organic design using the modified soumak weave to create a woven edging around your piece to frame your fused design. The final touch is a pop of color using stones or crystal sewn into the design in an organic fashion to emulate crystals growing from a fissure. Students should come to class already proficient in the modified soumak weave. It is recommended that you are already comfortable using a torch.
