Class Description: Learn how to set a faceted stone in a custom silver bezel as you create this stunning mid-century modern minimalist inspired pendant. You’ll improve your technical skills at the bench as you form a bezel, fabricate and attach an elongated bar bail, and set a large oval faceted stone. Techniques learned in this class will easily apply to setting faceted stones of different shapes and sizes in your future work.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: Must have soldering experience.
Materials Kit (included in price): Fine-silver bezels, Sterling silver sheet, Sterling silver rectangle wire, 10x14mm faceted CZ (choice of color), polishing papers, polishing cloth. Instructor will contact your directly for color choice. Domestic US shipping.**

- Chain nose pliers
- Flat nose pliers or parallel pliers
- Wire snips
- Sharpie, fine tip
- Center punch
- Fine Tweezers
- Rawhide or nylon mallet
- Bench block
- Dividers
- Metal Files
- Curved burnisher
- Calipers or metal ruler
- Metal trimming shears
- Saw frame, 0/2 blades, blade lubricant
- Bench pin
- Ring clamp
- Chasing hammer (optional)
- Solder Set-up, including hard, medium and easy solder
- Flex shaft or rotary tool and 1mm HSS drill bit
- Safety glasses
