21-22.04 Rainforest Leaves

Skill Level: Beginner

Class Description: Learn to cut niobium sheet with metal shears, bend, texture it and then colorfully anodize your created pieces. Add beads with wire and jump rings to suggest falling rain. Students will learn how to cut, shape, file, and sand niobium sheet and wire; an easy fold forming technique; and anodizing techniques.

Giving Back: By registering for this class a donation of $20 will be contributed to the instructor's charity of choice, the Juvenielle Diabetes Research Foundation. On behalf of the instructor and VEC, we would like to thank you for your continued support of our program as we strive to make this world a little more beautiful.

Materials Kit: Unanodized niobium stock, unanodized niobium ear wires, unanodized niobium jump rings, miscellaneous magatama seed beads, 3M sanding pad, watch case knives.
