Class Description: One important feature of Metal Clay is firing shrinkage making it challenging when incorporating and setting semi-precious stones. This one-hour short will highlight a very simple technique for adding perfectly aligned prongs to your Fine Silver metal clay piece BEFORE firing. And the stones you set don’t have to be perfect! This process also works with irregular-shaped stones, and it allows you to add so much color to your metal clay work!
