Date: Thursday, April 27, 2023, 6 - 9pm (CST)
Instructor: Stephanie Chavez
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: This statement ring is just as fun to wear as it is to create! You will learn several skills while creating this ring. Including, but not limited to: How to properly size rings in metal clay, create and attach embellishments, fire in place a bezel, set a stone, how to fire and polishing and finishing techniques. A kiln is required for firing this piece. If you do not have a kiln, firing services are offered by the instructor. Please contact Stephanie to make arrangements.
This is a beginner class, but some simple soldering experience will be helpful. Once you master this technique, the opportunities for setting glass and stones are endless!
Project Completion: students will have enough time to finish construction of one ring during live class. Firing will be done on your own after class.
