Date: Friday, April 28, 2023, 1:30 - 4:30pm (CST)
Instructor: Jennifer Dins
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: This is a fun way to get creative with stone setting in Metal Clay. Using a base of fine silver, we will set sterling silver prongs AFTER firing to capture our sea glass piece. A piece of sea glass will be provided in your kit in addition to tiny sea molds to create a unique seascape for your “stone”.
This is a beginner class, but some simple soldering experience will be helpful. Once you master this technique, the opportunities for setting glass and stones are endless!
Project Completion: students will have enough time to finish during live class.
