Part 2: Sunday, April 30, 2023, 1:30 - 4:30pm (CST)
Instructor: Lynn Yuhr
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: Embrace your primitive artistic nature and create a painted leaf out of polymer clay. These pendants are an aboriginal-inspired design that plays with simple yet effective graphics and an abstracted leaf shape. Color blends and bold shapes create an unmistakably whimsical leaf. The meditative addition of the dot patterns, using liquid polymer clay, adds a primitive elegance to your pendant making it uniquely yours.
Students will learn color blending, using liquid clays, making dots (lots of dots!), and adding movement and shape to the leaves. Students will make their own bails which will be embedded into the finished pendant.
Project Completion: students will not complete project during live class.
