Asia Raine is a Utah artist who creates jewelry using traditional silversmithing techniques, fabricating pieces by hand using natural stones, silver, copper, gold and brass. The organic nature of her work has a refined flair that offers an easy transition from everyday wear to special occasion pieces. Through the process of metalwork and jewelry making, she quickly discovered how her life as an artist was greatly enriched by sharing her knowledge through teaching. She genuinely celebrates with her students as they experience the process of making their own jewelry pieces and learning new skills.
She teaches independently and has collaborated with the University of Utah, The Pioneer Craft House, B Golden Jewelry School, Moab Arts and Recreation Center, Virtually EverCrafting, and HELP International. She has also shared her knowledge through written articles on the blog site, http://asiarainedesigns.blogspot.com/ and contributed to the online platform instructables.com and curiousmondo.com.
