Class Description: Learn all about reactive metals (niobium and titanium) and how to use a power supply unit/anodizer to create a wide range of colour, including rainbow fades, in a demonstration/information session.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class time.
Materials Kit: Various jump rings, findings, and components in niobium and titanium.
Tool Kit: Stainless steel cathode, pieces of titanium wire, small package of trisodium phosphate.

Required Tools and Supplies:
- Power supply unit/anodizer capable of producing 120V and 1A
- Large plastic tupperware container
- Red and black electrical leads
- Cathode (stainless steel sheet metal that when bent in a 90 degree angle, half sits at the bottom of the tupperware container and half stick out of container by at least an inch)
- Rubber gloves
- Trisodium phosphate powder (recommended) or powdered detergent
- Distilled water
- 4” piece of 18swg or 16swg titanium wire
- Paper towels
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
