Class Description: Make a one-of-a-kind holiday ornament embellished with pure fine silver. This quick and easy project delivers an elegant result!
Project Completion: Students may work along, but will need to kiln fire after the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one ornament (Art Clay Silver overlay paste, glazed porcelain ball ornament, black Stabillo glass marking pencil, fiber blanket).

Required Tools and Supplies:
- Sharpie
- Curved burnisher
- Basic metal clay set up: roller, non stick work surface, 10 playing cards or depth measuring slats, scalpel or Xacto knife, fine paintbrush, fluffy paintbrush, sanding sponges and straight salon boards (nail file) of different grits, cup of water, release agent (cool slip, olive oil), piece of saran wrap/cling film.
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Needle tool or awl
- Electric programmable kiln
- Spray bottle with water (distilled preferred)
- Fiber blanket
- Black stabillo glass marking pencil
