Laura Stamper's background is painting but she has had a successful business creating art jewelry for the last 31 years. Her jewelry, like her paintings speak to her roots in illustration and painting. “I have been influenced by the greats from Da Vinci to Dali.” The theme of her art is rooted in story with each individual piece, telling it's own story. Laura's jewelry consists of multiple steps, which can include enameling and cloisonne. Laura combines these originals with gem stones and sets them in precious metals (sterling silver, 18 k, 22 k, and 24 k gold). Laura's unique style and craftsmanship make these collectable pieces heirlooms of the future. Laura's designs have been featured in several publications and she has received many awards for her work. Laura's jewelry is sold through select galleries and juried art shows. She teaches classes in her studio and has been a guest instructor nationally. |
