Class Description: Working with wire has always fascinated me, and I’m excited to explore how it can be combined with soft fabric materials in braiding. In this class, you’ll learn the 8-strand Kara Yatsu braid technique—from setting up wire and soutache in specific slots to executing the braiding movements. By the end of the session, you’ll understand the braid sequence and have the opportunity to experiment with wire braiding on your own.
Project Completion: Students who work quickly will have enough time to finish the project during class time.
Materials Kit: Cords, wire, clasp, instructions.

- E6000 or super glue gel
