Pre-requisite: Student must be comfortable with the jewellers torch, and all usual bench tools.
Class Description: Timeless, versatile and elegant in its repetition, a woven wire cuff makes a wonderful gift and matches every aesthetic.
The pop is in the details though, and this cuff comes with beautiful end caps, an enchanting twist and a decorative element in the centre of the span.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch however, any small flame jeweler's torch will work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one bracelet (sterling silver stock).

- Chain nose pliers
- Flat nose pliers
- Nylon pliers
- Side cutters
- Brass brush
- Bench block
- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Student files
- Needle files
- Fine tweezers
- Steel bracelet mandrel
- Nylon bracelet bending pliers or bracelet bender
- Divider
- Jewelers’ saw
- Saw blades (4/o)
- Cut lube
- Bench pin
- Flex shaft with 3M bristle Discs, polishing wheels
- Polishing compound: EuroLustre or ZAM
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Patina: JAX Black or Black Max
- Sand paper: 240, 600, 1000, 3000 grit
- Solder pick
- Acetylene torch, propane torch, or butane torch
- Soldering set up: butane, torch, solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, quench bowl, flux, copper tongs, wire silver solder: hard, med. easy.
- Masking tape
