Skill Level: Advanced
Pre-requisite: Experience with peyote and tubular herringbone.
Class Description: You’ve probably heard of sculptural peyote, but have you heard of sculptural herringbone? This delicate-looking ornament gets its name from its shape. Shaping is done using peyote and herringbone decreases. Crystals along the equator lend a delicate sparkle to this self-supporting ornament – no stuffing required!!
Project Completion: Students will not have enough time to finish the project during the class, but will have a good start to finish on their own.
Materials Kit: The kit includes enough for one ornament (Delica beads, seed beads, crystal bicones, wire guards). Instructor will reach out after registration for color choice.

Required Tools:
- Scissors
- Bead mat
- Beading needles, size 10 or 11
- Beading thread, such as One-G or 6lb Fireline
- Microcrystaline wax (NOT beeswax)
- Magnifiers/reading glasses (as needed)
- Task light (as needed)
- Thread zapper (optional)
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship Oct. 2, 2024, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
