Date: Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, 1:30-4:30pm (CST)
Instructor: Pat Evans
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: Learn to make a bezel setting for your non-fireable cabochons without soldering. Learn to hand-shape leafy embellishments and to create an unusual bail to enhance your design with extruded clay. After firing, you’ll learn to set your cabochon like a pro!
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class, unless they are kiln firing.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch, however, any jeweler's torch or a kiln may be used.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (Art Clay lump type, Art Clay paste, cabochon, fine silver bezel wire, empty syringe, leaf template, straw, pro polish pad). Instructor will reach out after registration for stone selection.
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
