Date: Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, 9am-4pm (CST) 1hr lunch break
Instructor: Michelle Brennan
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: Create a one-of-a-kind necklace featuring both chainmaille and hand-crafted metal flowers (daisies or poinsettias). Students will get a great introduction to basic metalsmithing skills when they create flowers from copper sheet metal and intricately colour them with alcohol inks. A basic chainmaille chain will be crafted to join all necklace components together.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one necklace (copper sheet metal, copper jump rings, copper lobster clasp, templates, instructions).
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
