Instructor: Karen Whooley
Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: Students must know how to chain, slip stitch and single crochet. Students should also be comfortable with threads and smaller hook sizes.
Class Description: Who knew crocheted jewelry could be so fun? Using Karen’s tubular method of making beaded ropes, you’ll learn all of her tips and tricks! Learn how to keep the beginning tight, how to keep from seeing the crochet stitches through the beads, learn how to create patterns with color, how different sizes and shapes of beads can change the overall look and texture, and a whole lot more. We guarantee that you will be addicted once you start!
Project Completion: Students will not have enough time to finish the project during the class, but will have a good start to finish on their own.
Materials Kit: The kit includes a nylon thread spool pre-strung with seed beads, a beading needle, bracelet findings, worsted-weight yarn with pre-threaded pony beads (for practice). Instructor will reach out after registration for color selection. (Note: Kit only option does not include instructions.)
