Date: Friday, April 19, 2024, 9-1pm (CDT)
Instructor: Jennifer Dins
Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: Must have basic metal clay experience.
Class Description: One of my favorite things about METAL CLAY is the ease with which you can create 3D objects! In this workshop we will explore designs for a perfume or “stash” vessel in fine silver .999 complete with a CZ-set jeweled lid and clasps to lock the lid in place. It is recommended this piece be fired in a kiln for strength, but torch firing will be demonstrated. Firing service is also available for those who do not have a kiln.
Project Completion: students who work quickly will have enough time to finish the structure of the project during live class. However, students will fire the project after the end class on their own.
Materials Kit: Art clay silver 20g, fireable CZ stone of your choice, sterling wire, straw armatures for sizing. Instructor will reach out after registration for color choice.
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.)
