Class Description: Circle your neck with texture and color as often as you want. Cut out, texture and anodize links. Squiggles can be added or not. Link them together with chainmaille mobiuses.Create your necklace in your colors. As a bonus option, there will be enough niobium to make matching earrings to add their jingle music to your day.
No anodizer…no problem. An anodizer can be rented for a 3 week period from the instructor. ($75) As demonstrated in the VEC Anodizing Short, batteries can be also be used for this process. This option, however, provides a more limited color palette than when an anodizer is used.
Project Completion: students will have enough class time to complete project.
Materials Kit: Niobium sheet and wire, niobium hook & eye, templates, niobium earwires, niobium rivet, aluminum chain, 3m sanding pad.

- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Texture hammers
