Class Description: This beautiful modern pendant really "sets the bar" high! Unlike like its predecessor, the "Stilted Pearl", this project adds the dimension of a brilliant gemcut CZ. Learn to measure precisely, saw and solder your silver, to set a beautiful cubic zirconia in your choice of color.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch, however, any jewelers' torch except a MicroTorch will work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (sterling silver stock, 6mm CZ, setting material, snake chain).

- Sharpie
- Chain nose pliers
- Nylon pliers
- Heavy duty side cutters (optional)
- Brass brush
- Bench block
- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Student files
- Needle files
- Square bezel pusher or bezel roller
- Jewelers’ saw
- Saw blades (2/o or 3/o)
- Cut lube
- Bench pin
- Honeycomb soldering block with pins
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Self-tapping center punch
- Flexshaft with 1.5mm HSS drill bit, 4mm setting bur
- Patina (indicate type) LOS and or Black Max
- Sand paper (indicate grit) 600/500/400
- Super grip gloves (optional)
- Steel wool
- Rotating solder station (optional)
- Solder pick (optional)
- Acetylene torch, propane torch, or butane torch
- Soldering set up: butane, torch, solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, quench bowl, flux, copper tongs, silver solder paste, wire or chip: Hard, Med. Easy
