Class Description: Using anodic painting on niobium learn to create a serene "Evening Landscape". Then you will make a "forested" frame to create interest.
No anodizer…no problem. An anodizer can be rented for a 3 week period from the instructor. ($75) As demonstrated in the VEC Anodizing Short, batteries can be also be used for this process. This option, however, provides a more limited color palette than when an anodizer is used.
Project Completion: students will have enough time to finish during live class.
Materials Kit: niobium sheet, niobium rivets, jump rings, aluminum chain, electric paintbrushes, and 3M sanding pad.
