Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: Must have some fabrication experience.
Class Description:If you are looking for a class that touches on a lot of techniques, this one is for you. These earrings have a little bit of everything; reticulation, Keumboo, tube setting, and soldering.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using an butane torch and a Gentec (Smith Little equivalent) which is required to pin the parts.
Project Completion: students will have enough class time to finish the project.
Materials Kit: Sterling silver stock, 24kt gold leaf, clear CZ's.

Required Tools:
- Scissors
- Chain nose pliers
- Side cutters
- Half round pliers (optional)
- 1.25 hole punch
- Agate burnisher
- Fine tweezers
- Bezel setting punch
- Brass brush
- Needle files
- Bench block
- Solder pick
- Soldering set up to include Hard, Medium and Easy silver solder of any kind. Gold-filled solder paste (optional).
- Gentec or Smith Little torch
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Fine tweezers
- Bowl of pumice for soldering or soldering clay
- BlackMax patina or equivalent
- Keumboo set up: hotplate that heats up to at least 700degrees (heating on a stove will also work), bamboo skewer or chopstick.
- Sand paper (600grit)
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship April 3, 2024, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
