Instructor: Pat Evans

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

Class Description: Combine lump, syringe type and paper type silver metal clay to create this whimsical, sculptural pendant. You’ll mold life-like seashells to form a background for a graceful syringe-sculpted mermaid. No sculpting experience is needed for this easy technique! We’ll finish off our pendant by setting a pearl for our mermaid to treasure.

Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.

Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch, however, any jeweler's torch or a kiln may be used.

Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (art clay silver, fine silver wire, art clay syringe type with tips, art clay paper type, silicon seashell mold, half-drilled pearl, mold pusher, template, pro polish pad).

Tool Kit: Bira Craft 1 inch rock fern shape lever action craft punch, E6000 glue.

Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
