Class Description: Braiding colorful beads into an 8-strand Kongoh Gumi Z-pattern, combined with gemstones, is a fun and rewarding challenge. The photo showcases two stunning designs: one featuring a rich lavender blend and the other a vibrant aqua blue.
In this class, you’ll learn how to arrange six colors of seed beads and string them onto each of the eight cords. You’ll also master the basic principles of creating the color block pattern in an 8-strand Kongoh Gumi braid. Whether you choose the lavender or aqua blue kit, you’ll leave with the skills to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind necklace.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time complete project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one necklace (cords, beads,clasp). Instructor will reach out after registration for color selection.

- Chain nose pliers x2
- A round foam disk
- Sharp scissors
- E6000 or super glue gel
