Pre-requisite: Must have previous soldering experience.
Class Description: Create your very own pair of sterling silver cuff links! In this class, you’ll learn how to create the shank from scratch and add a little sparkle to elevate the design. These timeless accessories are not only a great addition to any wardrobe but also a unique way to showcase your personal style.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch, however, any jewelers' torch except a MicroTorch will work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one set of cuff links(sterling silver stock, CZ).

- Chain nose pliers
- Multi-looping pliers
- Flat nose pliers
- Nylon pliers
- Half round pliers (helpful)
- Parallel pliers (optional)
- Heavy duty cutters
- Bow closing pliers (optional)
- Brass brush (optional)
- Bezel rocker
- Curved burnisher
- Riveting hammer
- Bench block
- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Student files
- Needle files
- Divider
- Center punch
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Sand paper (indicate grit) 600/500/400
- Super grip gloves (optional)
- Steel wool
- Rotating solder station (optional)
- Solder pick
- Any jeweler's torch except Microtorch.
- Soldering set up: butane, torch, solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, quench bowl, flux, copper tongs, silver solder paste wire or chip: Hard, Med., Easy
- Tumbler with stainless steel shot.
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship April 7, 2025, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
