Date: Thursday, April 24, 2025, 2pm-9pm (CDT) (1-hr break)
Instructor: Storm Rise
Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: Must be able to solder confidently.
Class Description: Telling a story is one of the fun things we can do with Jewellery Design. These earrings, with their little diorama, can tell any story you’d like to create: A Day by the Sea, or A Windy Hill, or maybe Looking Out the Kitchen Window.
This class will incorporate several techniques: Soldering, working inside design parameters and even a bit of metal carving for those students looking to expand their skill and design repertoire. You will finish the day with a unique pair of story earrings to wow your family with.
Torch: Instructor will demo using an oxy/acy torch, however a butane torch or Gentec/Smith Little torch will also work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pair of earrings(sterling silver stock).
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
