Instructor: Jennifer Dins

Skill Level: Confident beginner

Class Description: This class will explore 3D techniques traditionally used in pottery and ceramics. Using strips of texturized metal clay, I will teach you how to weave a pattern and put it together in an optional “frame” and a bail to create a unique pendant. Heavier weaves can be used to create an entire piece, while lighter weaves can be added as elements. Both lump and paper clay will be demonstrated, giving you options on how to best approach this project.

Project Completion: Students will not have enough time complete the entire project during the class time.

Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (20 grams .999 ART CLAY, shaped clay cutter, straight line cutter).

Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)

(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
