Class Description: Discover the art of cloisonné enameling on copper with silver foil as you design and create a stunning orchid, blending opaque and translucent enamels for depth and shading. Master techniques for applying fine silver wires, adding silver foil for brilliance, and layering enamel to achieve vibrant, dimensional effects. Perfect for students who are looking to enhance their enameling skills, this workshop combines creativity and craftsmanship for a truly rewarding experience.
Torch: Instructor will demo using an oxy/acy torch, however a butane torch or Gentec/Smith Little torch will also work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (copper blank, cloisonne wire, enamels, silver foil, patterns red saral paper).

- Enameling tools: enameling kiln, enameling fork, trivets, Klyrfire, 3-4 paint brushes size 0, 0/3, and smaller, 80 mesh enamel colors.

- Flex shaft bits: sanding discs and mandrel.
- Solder pick
- Soldering set up: solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, flux, copper tongs, silver solder paste: Hard, Medium, Easy.
- Quench bowl
- Low ball size glass
- Plastic teaspoons x12
- Toilet paper
- Diamond scratch pad 200 grit
- Glass rod
- Distilled water timer
