Instructor: Pat Evans

Skill Level: Confident beginner

Class Description: Craft your own fine silver metal clay spinner ring—a perfect accessory for fidgeting anytime! In this workshop, you'll learn the secrets of creating a spinning outer ring and customize it with your choice of textures and embellishments to reflect your unique style. Develop essential skills, including sizing rings in metal clay, shaping, refining, and finishing, as well as kiln-firing techniques. Please note that firing will need to be completed after class due to time constraints.

Project Completion: Students will have enough time to put the project together during the class, however, as this is a kiln fired project, students will work on finishing on their own. Kiln firing, setting stone, patina  and polishing will be demonstrated.

Materials Kit: Enough material for one ring (fine silver metal clay (lump and syringe), teflon strip, one time use ring size plug, strip of Papyrus kiln paper, cubic zirconia gemstones). Instructor will reach out after registration for color choices.

Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)

(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
