Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025, 1:30pm-4:30pm (CDT)
Instructor: Fen Li
Skill Level: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: French Beading experience in "Basic Frame" technique.
Class Description: An impossibility of making seamless French beaded flower jewelry is now possible with exciting new techniques introduced by Fen Li. In this 3 hour intermediate class, you’ll be learning how to make individual French beaded sunflower components on one continuous wire. Pre-requisite with the Basic Frame technique required.
These individual sunflower components can then be arranged in any configuration and attached together. A PDF and video lesson will be made available for the leaves components if you wish to make the full necklace. Make the individual leaves before class.
Project Completion: Students will not have enough time complete the entire project during the class time. However, students walk away with a solid foundation to complete the project on their own. A demonstration on how to put the entire necklace together will be provided.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one necklace (seed beads in a variety of colors shown in sample, copper stock).
