Skill Level: Confident beginner
Class Description: Join us for an exciting class where you'll learn to add bold, vibrant colors to silver Metal Clay creations using innovative techniques. Together, we'll create a piece featuring channels and pockets designed to hold multiple colors of jeweler’s cement and polymer clay. After texturing and constructing your metal clay piece, we’ll fire it in class using a torch, followed by optional patina and tumbling for a polished finish. Then, the real fun begins! Both coloring techniques will be demonstrated during this engaging 3-hour session.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time complete the entire project during the class time.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using an butan torch.Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (20 grams .999 ART CLAY, jewelers cement samples (2 colors), polymer clay).
