Pre-requisite: Must have fabrication experience.
Class Description: Create a stunning hinged bracelet with a hidden box clasp and safety catch in this hands-on class. Students will learn essential techniques in soldering and fusing silver, focusing on precision and functionality. From crafting the perfect hinge to designing a secure and elegant clasp, this workshop combines technical skills with creative design. Ideal for those ready to elevate their jewelry-making abilities and master the art of creating professional-quality bracelets.
Torch: Instructor will demo using a Smith Little. However a butane torch, oxy/propane or oxy/acy torch will also work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one bracelet (sterling silver stock, semi-precious cabochon). Instructor will reach out after registration for stone selection.

- Bezel rocker

- Bracelet mandrel
- Rotating Solder Station
- Fine tweezers
- Patina LOS or Jax Max
- Flex shaft
- Flex shaft bits: 3.1mm bud, med sanding discs and mandrel, HSS drill bit: 1mm
- Solder pick
- Gentec, Smith Little, acetylene or propane torch.
- Soldering set up: solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, quench bowl, flux, copper tongs, silver solder paste: Hard, Medium, Easy, charcoal block.
