Date: Sunday, April 27, 2025, 2:30pm-6:30pm (CDT)
Instructor: Storm Rise
Skill Level: Confident beginner
Class Description: Metal Carving, like engraving, is a wonderful way to add visual depth and interest to a two- dimensional piece. While engraving can take years to master, metal carving is much more forgiving, and easily learned. These simple flowing earrings become stunners with just a little added help from you and your flexshaft.
Students will end the class with a firm grip of the principles of metal carving for effect, and a lovely pair of earrings to gift or keep for yourself.
Torch: Instructor will demo using a hand held Orca butane torch, however any jeweler's torch will work.
Project Completion: Students will have enough time to finish the project during the class.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pair of earrings (sterling silver sheet, sterling silver wire).
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
