Barrie Edwards is a self-taught jewelry artist residing on the west coast of B.C., Canada. When she began her jewelry career over 25 years ago, there were very few formal classes in the area, and no internet so there was a lot of trial and error! And a big scrap bucket as well. "Practice, patience and perseverance" was her motto and before long she was selling at local markets and boutiques. After many requests from her friends and customers, she decided to try her hand at teaching metalsmithing classes and realized she'd discovered her true passion - sharing her techniques with others! She's been avidly teaching ever since! |
