Date: Thursday, Oct 22, 2026, 9am-4pm (1-hr lunch break) (CST)
Instructor: Robyn Cornelius
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: Learn how to combine mixed metals by creating the illusion of one layer tearing through another. While the class sample features a heart design, students are encouraged to explore a variety of shapes and sizes to suit their own style and design preferences. Students will learn techniques for shaping, layering, and finishing mixed metals, as well as how to use super pickle to remove copper scale from bronze and brass. Complete your piece with a decorative and functional tube rivet embellishment.
Project Completion: Students who work quickly will have enough time to finish the project during the class time.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using an acetalyne torch, however, any butane torch will work.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (Sterling silver stock, brass stock, copper stock).
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
