Class Description: Create your own stunning "Skyline Earrings" in a beginner-friendly workshop! No experience is needed to master the art of working with sterling silver and opal inlay. I will show you all the materials, tools, and guidance to help you shape, set, and polish a professional-quality pair to take home.
Project Completion: Students who work quickly will have enough time to finish the project during the class time.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using a butane torch, however, any jeweler's torch will work.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pair of earrings (Sterling silver stock, crushed opals (synthetic)).

Required Tools and Supplies:
- Sharpie
- Starbond CA glue thick or medium
- Starbond accelorator
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- Flat nose pliers
- Nylon pliers
- Multi-looping pliers
- Heavy duty side cutters
- Bench block
- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Student files
- Needle files
- Patina LOS or Jax Max
- Polishing Compound
- Flex shaft
- Flex shaft bits: musling wheel and polishing compound
- Brass brush
- Solder pick
- Jeweler's torch of any kind
- Soldering set up: solder board, tripod with mesh, pickle, fire tweezers, quench bowl, flux, copper tongs, silver solder of any kind: hard, medium, easy.
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Sand paper: 400, 500, 600 grit
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship Oct. 8, 2026, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
