Class Description: A one-hour deo introducing the creative possibilities of paper quilling jewellery through simple and engaging techniques. Participants will explore how colourful paper strips can be transformed into decorative and functional art while learning basic tools, methods and skills of quilling. This beginner-friendly session will demonstrate how to create earrings and inspire ideas for designing wearable jewellery. Perfect for hobbyists, beginners, and anyone looking for a relaxing, rewarding, and creative hands-on experience.
Project Completion: Students will be able to finish multiple pieces during the class time.
Required Tools and Supplies:
- 0.3 mm - 0.5 mm. Quilling strips in different colors
- White glue
- 1 ohp sheet, old CD or an old plastic plate
- Tooth pick
- Angled Tweezer with a pointed tip
- Earring wires
- Jump rings
- Chain nose pliers
- Waterproof coating, clear varnish or sealant (optional)
- Quilling template board with the slotted needle
- Small scissors, sharp
- Any embellishments like beads, rhinestones, tassels or charms
