Class Description: Various ground glass colors will be used to make these fun unique handmade holiday ornaments. We will learn how to ground our own glass or use ready made small glass pieces. We will learn some tricks to fuse these properly.
Project Completion: Students may play along, however, there will not be enough time to complete a project.
A programable kiln will be required to complete this project.
Materials Kit: Clear glass, color glass, small glass pieces, wire, Thinfire paper.
Required Tools and Supplies:
- Sharpie
- Scissors
- Chain nose pliers
- Side cutters
- Windex and paper towels
- Programmable kiln
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
- Fused glass tools
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship Oct. 8, 2026, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
