Class Description: Let’s try our hands at sculpting shapes into our glass! You will create the appearance of carved designs in glass. Then you will learn to fire and finish our pieces.
Project Completion: Projects will be assembled during class time but will need to be fired after.
A programable kiln will be required to complete this project.
Materials Kit: Glass, Thinfire paper, ceramic paper.
Tools Kit: Scoring tool, breaking tool and nippers
Required Tools and Supplies:
- Sharpie
- Scissors
- Chain nose pliers
- Side cutters
- Metal Ruler
- Windex and paper towels
- Programmable kiln
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
- Fused glass tools
*Note: You must choose either a Zoom or Zoom/Kit combo to receive written instructions. Kits will begin to ship Oct. 8, 2026, unless otherwise arranged with instructor.
