Date: Saturday, Oct 24, 2026, 9am-4pm (1-hr lunch break) (CST)
Instructor: Robyn Cornelius
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Class Description: Discover the beauty of organic, molten textures in this hands-on jewelry class. Learn the art of reticulation—a technique that transforms silver, brass, and copper into dynamic forms with flowing, natural surfaces. You’ll experiment with heat, texture, and metal movement to create richly layered, earthy pendants that evoke the raw power of nature.
Once your forms are shaped and refined, elevate your pieces by embellishing them with tube-set gemstones in a variety of sizes. Explore design possibilities, develop confidence in working with mixed metals, and leave with a stunning necklace.
Project Completion: Students who work quickly will have enough time to finish the project during the class time.
Torch: Instructor will be demonstrating using an acetalyne torch, however, any butane torch will work.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (Sterling silver stock, gold filled wire, faceted round gemstone).
Domestic US shipping included. (Please contact instructor directly to arrange for international or expedited shipping fees.)
(Materials kit is included in price when "Zoom/Kit combo" or "Kit only" option is selected.*)
